Jewell Tone Music is relaunching a youth orchestra in Fall of 2019! The Ovation Youth Symphony Orchestra offers opportunities for students of varying experience levels and will provide students with valuable training in their instrument as part of a symphony orchestra.

We desire to provide our students with excellent musical training and to encourage their natural enthusiasm and curiosity for the instrument of their choice.

Ovation Youth Symphony Orchestra students will be given opportunities for individual feedback and instruction from our orchestra director and mentors.

 

 

The orchestra is two-tired, with Adagio and Andante Orchestras:

The Adagio Orchestra will be for students who have 6 months to 1 year playing experience with the following instruments:

Violin, Viola, Cello and Bass

The Andante Orchestra will be for students who have 2 to 5 years playing experience with a string or band instrument. 

*An audition is required for the Andante Orchestra 

  

 

Ovation Youth Symphony Orchestra runs from August 2019 to May 2020

Fall semester: August- December 2019

- November Performance

- December Performance

Spring Semester: January- May 2020

- May Performances

 Students are encouraged to participate in both fall and spring semesters as the instructing will progress throughout the year.

 

- Hour-long rehearsals will occur once weekly for Adagio

- Two Hour-long rehearsals will occur once weekly for Andante

 

 

Adagio: Cost per student, per semester: $95

Andante: Cost per student, per semester: $105       

*A discount for multiple students is available
